Story Necklace

Story Necklace- A necklace which tells a story.

A handmade Story Necklace that lets you bring your favorite stories, poems and quotes around with you. Great as a thoughtful gift as well as for yourself.

You will need the following:

• A book or printed quotes, poems etc on paper
• Watercolour paint
• Necklace wire ( found is most craft or bead shops)
• Glue
• Scissors

Step 1- Score and rip out five sheets from your chosen book.

Step 2- Paint each page and let them dry.

Step 3- Cut out long thin triangles the length of each page.

Step 4- Turn them over and add glue to the tip of the triangle.

Step 5- Roll each piece of paper up from the bottom to create a long bead.

Step 6- Don’t allow the beads to go flat. Trim the ends if you wish.

Step 7- Thread each bead onto the necklace.

Step 8- Wear and show off your story necklace, why not use a favourite poem or verse.

Step 9- You can also make these with any kind of paper. Seal with glue to make them hardwearing.
